A gin and vodka based dirty martini was on the cards for this classy and epic lobby bar. Its is luxury which we would have missed if we had not attempted to go to Sanderson to retreat with bitter dissappointment. Sanderson is not what it was. Thats for sure. Almost empty on a Saturday night apart from dodgy men and young glammed up hooker looking types. This is what brought us to Edition, as we needed a last drink our cocktaik trail. It was the best destination we made. Good music, well made drinks, cute bartenders, what more do you want. Ill tell you what, to visit again and again. cookandpour.co.uk

Sunday night party at a well known pub in Mayfair was cut short on account of its closing hours. 11pm. In India the party just warms up at that time. Not wanting another Novikov evening; one of the pretty ladies in our group suggested we try out the Lobby Bar and none of us could argue with her sweetness.It is fabulously located in this wow of a hotel that is a part of the Marriott Chain. Super high ceiling; a fireplace; plush loungers; pool table and a long bar with seductive lighting and peppy ambient music. We were at the right place. Great selection of wines and cocktails and fab staff- conversations and time can pass until the early summer sunrise in London.
