About
A rather quirky nautically themed free house, filled with maritime memorabilia and valuable artefacts from the bottom of the sea. Providing a selection of Cornish real ales and ciders and a variety of quality Czech and Bavarian Lagers. We also have a long list of different gins and some very special rums from around the world. A comfortable menu of pub favourites are served on our menu that is changed according to what is being landed in neighbouring Newlyn. Food served Mon- Sun 1200-1430 and 1800- 2130.Details

Visited this pub whilst taking a short break in the area. Received a warm welcome from a group of grown up elves and a friendly barmaid. Loved the quirky decor. Spent the afternoon sampling local gins. Husband said it was the best doomsbar he’d had!
Love this pub, full of characters and character. I’d rather be drink here than anywhere else in Penzance. Absolutely love ? Cloudesley xxx
WE popped in fro lunch on a quiet weekday in November and after an exploration of all the artifacts from the wrecks which dominate this friendly pub we had a very pleasant fish pie lunch.
