Not impressed. We were actually looking for a Western Sizzlin’ on the night we went here, traveling back to NWA. We couldn’t find it (hadn’t driven far enough) and saw this place. We decided to try it because we usually prefer the little local places. They usually have some character and a little something special. Not so here.While the service was friendly, the food was just sub par. It was not horrible, but it wasn’t special in any way.
Wow.. I took a date to Brangus in like 2006. It took 30 minutes to get a burger and fries; the wrong burger and fries. The right food finally gets there and the wax paper that separates the crappy cheese(?) was still on the slice… in my burger. SIX YEARS LATER I take my family to eat there in hopes for a better experience. BZZZZT! WRONG! Do the people writing these reviews know the difference between steak fries and whatever they’re serving here? Frozen, microwaved garbage. My wife had brown lettuce on her plate. I hope the new budding establishments in this town put this turd out of business.
Consistently Good Steak. I’ve eaten at Brangus Feed Lot several times and I have always been pleased. Good steak that doesn’t need steak sauce to make up for the kitchen’s shortcomings. Service has always been acceptable or better. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the mood for steak in Russellville.
Great Food. Brangus not only has great food but the atmosphere is really quaint. Love it. I have never had less than excellent food and service. It’s homey and friendly. Can’t beat it.
Haha. I almost forgot about this place. When I was in school in Russellville, Brangus had a big steak night where they had some ridiculously huge (something like 32 oz.) steak for a very low price. Steak was tough as can be, but for broke college kids, it was a treat. Their more reasonably sized steaks though were quite good, along with the country fried steak. I sort of miss that place.
