This place used to be really good but over the last few years the quality has really gone down. Don’t waste your money.
I had food delivered a few nights ago and it was terrible. The egg rolls tasted funny, like they were starting to go bad. I also had the cashew chicken and it was even worse than the rancid egg rolls. The chicken was so dry and the sauce was a super dark brown, tasted burned with a sweetish aftertaste and had the consistency of mud. It was realllllllly thick and gritty. I took a few bites and then threw everything away. Never again.
I like it for a change of pace
This place has gone downhill since it changed ownership a year or two ago. They changed the recipe to most of thr menu item. They are way too salty and greasy. Worst place to get chinese in town.
Update on my last review: I recently ordered delivery on a Thursday night to my workplace. Together, we ordered three items and it took EXACTLY one hour for it to get there. Mind you, this was a Thursday night and so surely they weren’t overly busy.. And it was quite a wait. Still tasty though and worth it.05 May, 2011Madame Wus is a good restaurant, with tons of choices and great lunch special prices! Ordering individually or a dinner special is substanially more expensive. But the food is always good and fresh. The wonton soup is amazing! The only problem I have is that the service is ALWAYS terrible. Slow, dumb waiters… Rarely refill drinks, and food takes forever to get to your table. I’ve ordered take out before and it too takes forever. I’ve heard they deliver if the order is over $15 but havent tried this out. If you want good food and have patience, it’s well worth it!
