After watching Diners Drive in’s and Dives on the food channel, I thought this would be a good place to visit. Guy was right. I took the metro to Union Station and walked up in 25 minutes. Well worth the walk. I ordered the Brisket with sides of Fries and Mac and Cheese. $14 well spent. Sitting out in the sunshine eating excellent food is bliss. Sorry I have not been previously. Will visit again in the future
Grand Central Market may well be one of the greatest food court experiences I’ve ever been to. Dozens and dozens of places to eat, and each one looked absolutely incredible. However, it was BBQ that I was hankering for (I live in New Zealand, and decent BBQ is a rare thing). Horse Thief did not disappoint … delicious, succulent pulled pork on a brioche bun with decent slaw and friends on the side.
