The location of this place is great if you are a ‘take the metro to downtown’ kind of person like myself. It 2-3 doors down from the 7th and Metro Station. You don’t even have to cross the street! If you are driving in downtown and want to check out this place…good luck. It is a very high traffic area and there is a lot of construction going on. And parking? That could be a problem.I stopped by here on my way home to the valley for a light snack and I was surprised by the size of the location because it looks very small from the outside. If you are looking for lighter and easy options like soups, salads and sandwiches, then this is a good choice. When I came in it appeared to be only two people working and I had to wait for the lady to come in and ring in my order, but she made up for the waiting by bringing my food out to the table I was sitting at.Their menu is very simple, but they have something in it for everyone. I got an iced coffee and a #3 which essentially was a bagel with cream cheese with some veggies inside. Its kind of impossible to mess up. The coffee was good for a mom and pop type of place. The food didn’t blow me away, but it was good.They had plenty of seating and even had an upstair area if you decide to stay. When I went in, it was slow, there wasn’t any kind of music playing (not that I expect that, but you never know, it could help lighten up the mood).When I make one of my many trips downtown to pick up supplies, this will definitely be a place I will visit again if I need a quick bite to eat. lovejessicarae.com
