Cool place for drinks and grub in the DTLA area.Came for a friends birthday and ordered up some plates and drinks. It was pretty packed that night so getting drinks took quite a while. All of the food we ordered was great. The biggest highlight was the cheese fries with duck confit. I’d most definitely go back for that if not anything else.I’d give this place a four but had a small issue with one of the bartenders. The birthday boy was trying to order his own drinks so to stop him from purchasing anything, I tried letting the bartender know to put it on my tab. In response, she said stop yelling at me which I wasn’t yelling at her. Not sure if she was having a bad night or not but she said it in an irritating manner which equaled no tip from my end. Not to mention like I stated earlier, she took forever to make the drinks but I’ll continue to say this was due to the place being crowded. Other than that, I did have a good time.The incident isn’t enough to stop me from visiting and will be going back in the future. Visit date 8/23/2014

Not convenient since I wanted to try some food but didn’t want to leave my friends to place an order at the bar. Seems like lost revenue to me. Having a waitress on the floor would definitely increase sales since we may have ordered more drinks with our food. Oh well. Our drink was good though!
