Disappointed…Didn’t realize there was no meat…Limited options for food at buffet.Garlic naan was staleSamosas were pretty bland and their sauces were watered down. The potato curry was alright but soo salty…Meh. Got my Indian fix I guess .Too bad I really wanted to like this place because it’s next to my house.

I’m Indian and this place is overpriced and is just ok in taste. As an Indian, there are much better places than samosa house. Bawarchi on Venice blvd is over priced as well but the taste is supreme compared to SH. But the bawarchi owner/manager (old guy) has way too much pride and attitude about his food.

Best Rasmalai. Samosa House has always had excellent vegatarian Indian food, and they seem to have gained popularity, now that they have opened up a second restaurant in the more central location (for Culver City) at Washington and Overland. Popular dishes for members of my household are the jackfruit curry, the saag, and the chana masala. Samosas are also good, but their best dish is their rasmalai for dessert. Its texture is consistently light and fluffy, and the milky sauce is always sweet and never watery or overly thick. The market is also one of the only places where you can buy McVitie’s Digestive Biscuits, which my mom likes but has trouble finding in the United States. Maybe she needs to shop at more Indian markets for them.

Awesome. One of the best experiences I’ve had in a while. Small eatery tucked away in an indian grocery store. $7.99 for combo plate. Tasty unique vegetarian choices. Comes with lots of naan, rice and dal. Mango lassi one of the best i’ve had. Super creamy. They sell British groceries too. Familiar candies, drinks and other goodies I remember from childhood in Canada.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had. I keep going back to Samosa House and their food keeps getting better. If you want extraordinary flavors and healthy food for a very reasonable price, you will be satisfied. Yes their 1st location here is in a grocery, but there is a friendly neighborhood feel to it all that is ultimately charming.

Tasty but it doesn’t look like an actual restaurant. The buffet isn’t all you can eat but at $7.99 for a 3 item combo, what you will get is very good. The buffet looks like an afterthought as it is in the middle of an Indian grocery store. But give it a shot, and don’t forget the namesake samosas served hot.
