What a fun place to eat! Atmosphere was what I would expect from a BBQ place. Loud, lots of energy, county music, cute decorations that made you feel like you were in the south. We made a reservation for 6:45 on a Saturday night. We checked in and we’re sat within 10 minutes of arriving, despite the restaurant being packed. The food was delicious! First off, the strawberry lemonade was the best I’ve ever had. More strawberry than lemon, and it was a real strawberry taste, not fake at all. (Also no bits of strawberry to get stuck in your straw.) My husband and I shared the Back Porch Special: half BBQ chicken, baby back ribs, tri tip, and we got garlic mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese. All the meat was perfect! We loved the ribs especially. The mashed potatoes were also some of the best I’ve ever had. The mac and cheese was…boring. Needed more salt, more cheese, more flavor. Definitely the low part of the meal. My sis in law got the brisket which was dry, but with the sop was great. Bro in law got baby back ribs, which were amazing. We got a birthday cupcake (for my birthday) which came with a candle and hot fudge and ice cream. Simple but yummy. We also got the banana pudding. If you like banana pudding, you’ll love this! Overall, we had an excellent experience here and can’t wait to go back again!

Coworkers and I came here for lunch and it was the best decision we made all day! I had the Mardi Gras Chicken and it was perfection! The chicken was fried to a crisp, topped with a creamy creole sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, and delicious veggies on the side. Will definitely be coming back.
