Sushi quality is pretty good. For not having a lot of business at 3pm the fish was definitely fresh. The speciality rolls priced right. The ambiance was less than desirable…bad color scheme, windows and door could use some windex, and no sushi bar. Definitely a take out type place. I would highly suggest trying it at least once and yes I would go back. I’m pretty picky when it comes to sushi…but what can you say its Rocklin not the bay area…lol.
Found my new neighborhood sushi joint! 1x $5 specialty roll is all you need for a meal! Oh, and if you get the ‘tokyo express roll’ he busts out a blowtorch! Love it!
This is my favorite food spot. Their ninja roll is my favorite. I am so addicted, I find myself going 2-3 times a week.
Great Sushi In A Strip Mall. I’ve passed by this place many times (on my way to Safeway, which is in the same parking lot), and never gave it a second glance. I thought it was one of those ubiquitous Japanese places one finds at the mall, (you know — the ones who water down their tempura sauce), but was I WRONG!This little sushi place surprised me. The interior is nothing fancy, (fast food attire is fine), but it’s clean, the sushi options were well-explained, and posted with pictures on the wall. The staff was friendly, but not overly so, and my sushi dinner was plentiful, fresh and delicious. While there are other options to eat besides sushi, if sushi isn’t your thing, I probably wouldn’t recommend this place. Sushi is really their main offering. If it IS your thing, you’re in luck. I know I’ll be back soon.
Good food, Good price, it has become our sushi stop.. My daughter and I try to get by there at least once every two weeks. They have very good food at reasonable prices. They also do some really awesome sushi trays if you have a party you want to take sushi to.
Very nice owners who accomodate our special order child and even created a special roll for her.
