Decent little pub relatively close to the Santa Cruz boardwalk with ample on-site parking. We stopped in for a a quick lunch on the drive from Monterey to San Francisco and ordered some French fries, jalapeo poppers, buffalo wings, baked Brie and a garden salad to share between our family of three. The servings were all enormous and the food fresh and filling. The dishes were not super exciting though, the salad was fairly average and the buffalo wings could’ve used a bit of extra kick, however, the jalapeo poppers were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, all up a decent pub lunch.
Great food, great service, fantastic beer. I wish this place was on the water, but that’s my only complaint. I got seated right away, and my food came out real quick. I got the salmon fish and chips with the chipotle macaroni salad – it was amazing. Even better though was the beer. I got the California grown lager and it was very strange, very unique, but really good! Next I got the blur IPA, which was recommended to me by my waitress. The blur was also very good, very complex and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed this place.
