Very good. Maybe this person reviewing the restaurant was one out of a million, I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times and can say its one of the best in Meriden, the scenery is amazing, the food is excellent (they have a new chef as of last year) everyday there is a new special. The only small gripe that I may have is that they need to change the look of the restaurant, it’s been looking the same for more then a decade now
We were there for my sisters wedding rehearsal dinnerre recently and the only thing nice was its location. The bathrooms were neglected, and wasn’t just that day. The urinal divider to the sink was disgusting as was the urinal itself and the floor. Nevermind the odor. The air conditioning was totally inadequate and we were sweating in dress clothing which isn’t a plus. The servers weren’t impolite, but they were far from personable. Everyone said the steak was tough, and overcooked. I understand the concerns now a days about undercooking food, but that was overkill (lol). My shrimp was funky, but the fish was great. The desserts were thawed adequately, and the tira misu was good. This is owned by the city, and I am sure they are budget constraints, but only so many negatives can be overlooked. The location was convenient and it is pretty there, but I can’t recommended this place.
