Great food and awesome staff. Went tonight for our son’s birthday. He’s been asking to go for months, now I’m kicking myself for waiting so long. Food was incredible (most of us had the fresh fried clams) and the staff was over the top nice and helpful. They heard it was our son’s birthday and brought him out a piece of pie with a candle and they all sang to him which was very nice. Overall a great experience and we will be going back again soon!
Alright. Good service from the start. I got the mahi fingers blackened. The seasoning was somewhat bland and the fish was a little over cooked. I suspect the hush puppies had been fixed earlier as they were bairly warm. Price was a little steep for food prepared this way. Would try again to see if it was just an off night.
Terrible.. Clam chowder tasted like out of a can. Very heavily fried foods. Don’t bother. A complete waste of time and money. No craft beers.
Nice surprise. Traveling home from Tampa via the backroads and decided to try it out. Had the Captains platter- was more than enough for two people. Split it with my husband. Scallops melt in your mouth. Pleasant staff. Very nice surprise. PPatterson
I love dans clams. I have went there since I was a young girl til my teens when I moved to ocala .I havent been in about 5 year since the last time me and my parents was in crystal river .My favorite stuff was the onions rings . a yummy hamburgers and theyre boiled shrimp among the other great food they sell .This has and always will be my favorite seafood place and we know the owner mr dan !!! Great people and great food . I even almost had a job there til i had to move with my parents
Credit Cards. First of all the food was wonderful just wish you got 2 sides instead of 1, would make it more of a meal. They now take credit cards woohoo who carries cash anymore!!! Makes it so easy to dine there. Will definetly go back again.
My wife and I just had lunch at Dans Clam Stand and what a treat. The Blackened Grouper was outstanding as was the service. We would not hesitate in recommending this restaurant. Greg.
