My French Dip should have surrendered. The service was friendly, but the French Dip was awful. Perhaps they thought I was German and were upset about the war. A French Dip is supposed to be thin slices of roast beef, not random tiny little bits of beef stuffed in the bottom and hidden under cheese. The au jus was a very weakly flavored watery beef broth that tasted like a cow had perhaps once taken a shower in it, but no beefier than that. I love French Dips, but this was the worst I have ever had, by a wide margin. Perhaps other items on the menu are passable, but Id never have anything on my menu that I couldnt do well, which is why I dont give second chances. Also, its cash only, for some reason they do not accept credit cards, perhaps its to avoid proof of purchase to avoid lawsuits over French Dip poisoning. Anyway, despite this, there did seem to be a regular local crowd. The waitresses seemed to know most of the people going in there, and they all seemed on friendly terms, which I can only assume means either they are culinary masochists or that they simply dont order the French Dip.
BUILD YOUR OWN OMLET. The build your own omlet is the best, you can add anything up to 5 items, i’m a big man and thought it would not fill me up and that it would be small, boy was i wrong!!! by the time i got my homefries and pancakes ( that come with it ) i was so full and very happy, the price was great also but let me tell you about the service! one lady got my drink, another took my order, and another brought my food, i like the team work, i never saw Kim but i hear she does exist and is there 7 days a week making sure everything is running well and the coustomers are taking care of. i go back everytime i am in town
It is the best very nice .People feel like your family very friendly best dish is kim’s country love it $4.50
Really good fast food. Good friendly service. Priced right.
Best breakfast in town!. MM MM MM MM MM! This place is my favorite restaurant in homosassa! Best belgium waffles EVER! And the working man special isn’t bad either. You should go here! 11 out of 10 stars. Great service.
The first time i went, it was for chili dogs. Not a shabby dog for not a lot of money. The second time i went, i thought i’d try the $5 Country Fried Steak. I’d like to consider myself something of a connoisseur of Country Fried Steaks, and when it first showed up to the table, it looked like a disappointment. A small piece of meat, and a bland looking sauce. However, upon trying it, it was anything but! Never had a gravy and steak so full of flavor. It’s better that the portion was reasonable, otherwise i would have eaten myself sick. I will DEFINITELY be going back for more.
Good, inexpensive food. Ordered a custom omelet. $1.00 extra to use egg whites. Mushroom, tomato, ham, and spinach (which was left out by the cook, so the waitress took off a dollar from my bill). All the vegetables were canned (not fresh) but were plentiful. Omelet came with grits (or home style potatoes) and Wheat Toast (or biscuit, or pancakes). Good food, quick service. I’ll go back.
