The food is incredibly delicious, the atmosphere casual and warm, and the service above and beyond! I’ve eaten at many, many restaurants throughout the US, and this one remains my most favorite of all. Try it, you’ll love it!
Will not go back. I called ahead for a reservation on a Sunday in the Spring and specifically asked if they had prime rib as advertised for the weekend. When we arrived at 5pm..our friends who wanted prime rib and went there specifically for it, were told they were out of it..since Friday!!! Why then did the woman who took the reservation say yes they had prime rib?? The waitress was relatively new, she talked to the manager and miraculously they found 2 pieces of prime rib. This is the second time this happened to our friends at Old World. I had 1/2 rack of ribs and they were not that good. I seriously doubt any of us will return.
The food and staff are great. My wife is from Germany and says the German foods are authentic. I highly recommend Old World to anyone.
Amazing. Me and my fiance where down at crystal river for the weekend on a dive trip, and we decided to take a drive down to floral city just to go to this restaurant. BEST IDEA EVER! They have great service. The waiter was so nice and on the ball. Best of all there food was amazing we also got it really fast. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants a good place to eat!!!
Consistent. We have been here many times in the past but it has been a couple years since our last visit since we have not been in the area. The place was just like we remembered it and the Friday, Saturday, Sunday special of Osso Bucco (Pork Shank) was just as tasty as we remembered. Two of us had the Osso Bucco, one has a chopped steak and the other Chicken Schnitzel, and we all enjoyed our meal. The Friday night visit was very crowded and very noisy. The server was very nice, but the dinner was slow to arrive. I thought the prices were high considering the poor ambiance and so so quality of the food. Would I go back? Not likely.
