It’s a drunk’s dive. Food & Service are the worst!. The food stinks, the service is worse. It is a typical drunks watering hole! Top dollar for a grilled chicken salad, only to receive a 2 oz. piece of chicken (cold) on a bed of lettuce, couple pieces of bell pepper and onions. I asked for vinegar on the side because of a heart diet that Im on, never receive it. I gave the plate of lettuce back to them. No refund! If you like eating like a rabbit, drinking like a fish, but pay top dollar to do it and wait forever for the service, this place still may not be good enough for you! Its that bad!!
Manager is a jerk. My husband Ordered hot Cajun wings. Wings did not come out wit hot sauce on them. A quick easy fix. Toss them back in the sauce, all good. Manager Joe with pony tail comes to us. Says you should have ordered hot wet. You didn’t order hot just Cajun, really? We did. He began verbally challenging us, you didn’t., etc I tried to stop him and say, no big deal but the customer is always right. I recommended he not fight w customers. Just fix the situation. He states, I will fight w the customer when the customer is wrong. Really? Very poor customer service. Owners- shame on you. He doesn’t tepresent you well at all.
What a disappointment! what a dump!. Thought that reviews of this place were accurate. Hell no! Walked in to what looked like bar that hasn’t been cleaned in 20 years. Bar stools were torn up and pieces of upholstery were cutting into my wife’s leg. Ordered fish that she said was Cod but when we received it it smelled foul and looked green. Had to spit out the piece that i had tried before I got sick. Told the waitress to report it to the owner/manager John?? He looked as if he really didn’t give a crap as we walked out with him looking right at us.. One hell of a way to treat customers , especially new ones that just moved here with plenty of friends and relatives that will be visiting us in the near future. You only have one chance to make a good impression! This place will get no good recommendations from us and we will be gladly to express or opinions to everyone.
I really enjoy going to the Old Mill Tavern. I find the food to be excellent. The staff and customers to be friendly. They have live music on Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 8pm and Karioki on Friday and Saturday nights from 9:30 to 1:30. Most of the people can actually sing well. 🙂 They are closed on Tuesdays. I highly recomend them.

DO NOT ORDER. Usually good except I got charged for Manhattan chowder which I never touched due to beef broth, over use of basil and way too much salt, was brown broth not red. Real Manhattan has no beef broth or basil rather tomato based and light thyme. Do not order, stunk.
Perfect location…. …right next to the Yulee Sugar Mill ruin — tour the small site, then have a bite at the bar. There are more flavors of chicken wings than you can shake a stick at. We had the garlic, and enjoyed them with hand-cut potato chips. Friendly crowd and wait-staff; I’ll go back when I’m in the area.
