Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat. First the good stuff. If you ask for hot sauce the HOT sauce is really hot. I went for the buffet. Over all it was mediocre at best. I come from San Francisco Bay area,…Fremont,CA. They have a very large Indian population. In turn many eatery. So I know and have experienced GOOD Indian food. This is NOT. The food is just ok. You would not find many expats from India here. Chit Chat. They were 10 minutes late in opening. I seated myself. No one ask me if I wanted anything to drink. No menu was given. I did get water. The folks were cordial enough. The place was like a morgue in silence. Though there was 8 other patrons. I did not like this I will not be back unless someone pays for my meal. Buffet is about 12 bucks with free water.
Naan!. We tried the lunch buffet and had a enjoyable meal. Our favorite items were the naan, vegetable korma, butter chicken and gulab jamin. Great value and great lunch!
First time I’m seeing beef curry in indian restaurant. I don’t recommend any one
Trying hard and succeeding!. Over the last 10+ yrs we have avoided this place, choosing to make our own Indian food at home (which I started eating in the mid 70’s!) However, the new management and chef are now putting out fresh, tasty dishes using herbs and spices liberally. Dishes on the buffet are refreshed frequently. As a Brit I personally would like much spicier versions of the dishes but they do a good job accommodating US palates. Let’s hope they continue the good work.
Our Dinner. Two of us had dinner on Mar 23 2014.It was OUTSTANDING. The best Karahi Chicken I ever had.Keep up the good workHarkrishan and Amit from Michigan
There is no other. If you want some Indian food in fort Myers , this is it. They seemed to have gone through some changes, ending up with the original owners. Opened up the restaurant and redecorated – very nice. Food is and was always good and when they say hot, they mean it. Go for medium. I have eaten Indian food all around the world except in india 😉 and have to rate there food as pretty good. Be nice to the lady that greatest you and you will not have any complaints about the service. Not big on the server, but he only delivers the food. And the lady’s of the house go out of there way to make you feel like a Maharashtra .
Indifferent service and mediocre food that does not appear to be authentic. Someone needs to opens genuine Indian restaurant in Fort Myers.
