Great spot but you absolutely cannot give a young man working his first night the responsibility of host. It was a train wreck…and quite unfair to your patrons and him.
Basic bar food. Nice ambiance and usual bar food
Great craft beers, good service, nice vegan rice and beans, veggie fajitas, and omnivore eats. Oct 12, 2014. Has a great craft beer selection, very nice service, Seven diners; two plant-based, others omnivores. Everyone enjoyed there meals and beers. Good sized portions and very flavorful. Rice and beans are vegan. Veggie fajitas had great flavor and cooked just right. Very pleased and would go back.
Disappointed and won’t return. Seafood was fresh but had no flavor on two different dishes. Same goes for the beef in the quesadillas. Short-staffed so difficult to get drink refills, etc… Left much to be desired. If this place was in any other place in the country, it wouldn’t survive 6 weeks.
Lobster bisque was great but fried calamari were awful ( chewy, in a very heavy breading and didn’t taste right). Wished we didn’t order them because now we are definitely not going back.
What a joke. Food is OK, but singer is such an a$$, it ruins the night ….for some crazy reason he thinks he is an original singer/songwriter … except for the fact that he tries REALLY hard to sound like other well known singers/songwriters … who invariably copied him … but don’t think for a moment you can request a song from the actually talented singers/songwriters … or he will make not-so-subtle comments about your (paid) request. Who needs his crap along with borderline edible food????
I didn’t have very high hopes for this place after starting out with the oysters for an appetizer. They were easily some of the worst I have had. Very grainy and shell filled. However, from this point forward, things started to look up. The Mahi was spectacular and the key lime pie was some of the best there is. The atmosphere is fun and casual, overall a great experience.
