Choosing a place to dine is about the food and the experience. Unfortunately, the food was average and the service made the overall experience lousy. We will not return and I would not recommend this restaurant to others.
This place has a pretty cool (but small) outdoor deck to sit. I tried the shrimp boil and did not like it. The shrimp were small and over cooked, the broth was underseasoned and the vegetables bland and uninspiring. Interestingly, the shrimp salad came with much larger shrimp than the boil. I would not go again. Doc Fords is nearby and has, in my view, a more interesting menu, better food and comparable prices.
Service is horrible… Waited close to an hour for food to come out. My meal was simple but got messed up – I asked for meal to not have onions .. The waitress took my meal back, only to return and tell me there were no onions.. Two seconds later I explained to her what an onion was and showed them to her on my plate, all she could say was I told the kitchen. Rest of our families meals were average at best. We won’t be going back. Our waitress ( Alexandria) was awful, pleasant but incompetent .
