If you’re looking for a restaurant this is the place to go, but if you’re looking for a great dinner don’t go here. I ordered scallops au gratin and after the first bite it was very clear that they were frozen, not fresh. They were extremely chewy. My boyfriend had the stuffed shrimp and it was also very chewy and more fishy tasting than any other shrimp I’ve had while here on Captiva. Overpriced and not fresh!

Meh. Great views, saw some dolpins while we ate, but food was mediocre at best. The barbecue bacon shrimp appetizer was just ok, glad we ordered the appetizer so we didn’t waste more money on it as a meal. My brother-in-law loved his stuffed shrimp and my husband liked the spice on the blackened mahi-mahi. I asked for a recommendation on whether to have the swordfish or salmon and we with waitress suggestion of swordfish. What a disappointment. While tender, it was only blah at best. No flavor whatsoever. The spinach that comes along tasted no better than the frozen spinach from the grocery store. The au gratin potatoes were also bland The waitress was attentive, service was quick but I will spend my dinner out money elsewhere. My advice, skip it.

Not a bad seat on the entire restaurant. Great layout.

Spectacular view, although facing away from the sunset. We thought we saw some manatees feeding. Planters Punch drink was very strong. We had a whole lobster special for $24.99, which is a great price, even off Captiva. Good sauted spinach — potato gratin side also good but needed a bit of seasoning. Be sure to go to the bathroom while you’re there.

Seafood dishes were okay but disappointing for price. Anything non-seafood was blah, including kids dishes. Waitress was not very pleasant.

Great waterfront view, food was just ok. Staff was not very friendly
