Really pleasant lunch experience. Food was solid and service was high quality. The outdoor area right next to the beach is charming, although we were a bit hot and went into the pub area. Might not be the best meal you can get on Captiva, but it hit the spot for us.

Perfectly prepared, moist fish. Great desserts & perfect location to capture the stunning sunset. This will be on my short list of restaurants worthy of repeating.

Stopped in for lunch after a morning out on the water and must have timed it just right. No wait, great beach view, friendly and attentive service. The grouper sandwich was the best I had while visiting Florida.

We moved back to Ft Myers a year ago. Always loved the Mucky Duck. It was good and very reasonably priced for the amount of food you gotWhen the old manager then became owner it was good and fun. If u asked for a window seat they rolled a window up next to your table if they didn’t have one but no more We ordered the Mucky Duck surprise that used to be big enough for two. Now it was a Tony brownie on the bottom about an inch square and instead of all the ice cream It was piled high with whipped cream Rip off.Too bad the new owners didn’t keep it the way it was.

Mucky Duck – A Must! A perennial favorite! We scored a window table after just a 15 minute wait. Enjoyed drinks, calamari while waiting. Note that they do not have a full bar but pour heavily. Loved the rum punch and lots of beers on tap. Two of us had the seafood platter and loved it. Salmon en croute was enjoyed by my daughter. Husband loved the beer battered shrimp. Our 17 year old had the Fish and chips and just not enough food for a football player. We had a birthday in our party and dessert was served with the whole restaurant singing Happy Birthday! Loved our waitress – she was awesome!

So many places with a prime location near the water are awful. This is a happy exception. Duck Duck Shrimp (a knockoff of Bang Bang) were delicious — very crispy and flavorful but thankfully not as spicy as the Bonefish version. Good beer selection. Beautiful view. Be aware there’s an ornery but funny bouncer — should you decide to head to the beach after your meal, he will have your car towed if you wander too far.

Bacon wrapped shrimps were fantastic! You have to try them.
