When I moved to Tampa from California, I wasn’t expecting the best sushi in the area to come from Pasco County. There are multiple other sushi places in the Tampa Bay area that are ok and have decent reviews, but this place is a step above the rest. I think part of the key to their success is the perfectly cooked rice and the extremely fresh fish. Not only are their raw sushi rolls great, they have awesome cooked ones as well that my wife really appreciated when she was pregnant. I’ve already highly recommended this place to my friends and after being quite comparable to our favorite sushi places in California and Hawaii, would urge anyone looking for sushi in Tampa to take the drive out to Wesley Chapel for this place!
Great food but slow service. I love coming to this place especially since it’s the closest sushi place from my house and they have good food. The staff is great and pleasant but for whatever reason, they’re always super slow even if the restaurant is not packed. My husband and I only come here when we know we have time to wait. Wish they’d do a better job with their service.
Came here for my birthday looking for sushi. Had the spider roll which was good but I also ordered chicken teriyaki which I was less than pleased with. I asked our waitress to replace it with another spider roll and said she couldn’t because there wasn’t a manager here. I didn’t make a big deal out of it but the customer service could have been a lot better. I won’t be coming back.
