Ive been here severeal times. Great great atmosphere. Feels like you are walking into Havana back in the 50’s.Food is good, but i think its a bit overpriced for Cuban food. I suppose your paying for the atmosphere.
Great food, Lively atmosphere. Enjoyed the pescado plancha, very well seasoned grouper! Plaintains cooked perfectly. Friendly staff with smiles, made me feel welcome, manager even stopped by to check on me after I recieved my dish. Would definitely recommend the restaurant.
Not returning!!. Quick food serving, good authentic cuban food but really bad service… I am not coming back…
Regarding service. So bad since we are both of us Doctors wants to try something new we went to Cuban restaurant but it was disasters complete discrimination please don’t ever enter to pembroke gardens Havana Cuban restaurant.
My new favorite Latin Restarant. Very good food. Good Mojitos ($5 during happy hour). The ambiance has so much character and the flan is the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve lived in SoFla for 57 years). There’s also live entertainment . I definitely recommend it.
We have the worst experience when the waiter toll us we have to eat fast because it was many people waiting for a table. Never going back.
First time Experience. I decided to write a review as I do with most first time visits. My first impression was that the water had no ice. It was served in a unique Bacardi bottle (but no ice). My wife asked for a diet coke and I followed with a regular coke and my son ordered a sprite. More to follow on that topic. The food was good and definitely plenty. I ordered Fried Pok Chunks, my wife ordered grilled chicken my son ordered the kids palomila and my other son, picadillo. All of the food was very good with generous portions. The grilled chicken only came with rice and beans. She ended up ordering a side of tostones. She liked them but the side order only came with three. We ordered another side of tostones but this time came with four. That is a bit inconsistent. Four dessert, my youngest son ordered a flan. I asked for extra spoons. I was a bit shocked to see the size of the flan (very small portion). I was then in more shock when I saw the price for it ($6.00). The real shock came when bill came with the price of the drinks. Each little 8 oz bottle was $3.50. That means $10.50 for three baby drinks. The other thing I noticed is that they served no bread as is usually customary at other traditional Cuban restaurants. Would I go back? Perhaps. But I would either bring my own (cold) water or drink theirs but certainly not soft drinks.I came back to edit the review. My older son mentioned that the soft drinks are not on the menu and therefore there is no price. I checked back with the online menu and sure enough, soft drinks are not there. The only ones there are traditional ethnic soft drinks and at a lower price ($2.00).
