I really have nothing good to say about this place. With so many chinese restaurants in Daytona you can surely find one better than this. Just not good at all.
Surprise treasure. Our discussion group had scheduled a meeting there and, as I pulled up with my wife to this tiny little hole in the wall at the end of a seedy looking strip mall, my expectations sank like a lead meatball. Once inside, we were greeted by a smiling woman who turned out to be Mary, owner and hostess of the establishment. Some of the group had gathered and were already sampling the appetizers they had ordered. Mary brought our menus and, upon examination, I was pleased at the selection, particularly the Korean menu. Much to my delight, I saw in addition to the standard fare of Kim chee and Bulgogi, the delectable Young Chung Pi, a Korean masterpiece (Google it). It did not have any kind of explanation and Mary was surprised I knew what it was. The choices were difficult but I ended up ordering Gung Pong Gee which was served wonderfully crisp with a perfectly balanced blend of pungent and spicy flavors. Everyone at the table was pleased with their selections and looked forward to our return. Mary is doing a wonderful job with her little place and we wish her the best.
Great Food!. This is by far the best Chinese food I have ever tasted! The food is great and reasonably priced and all served by friendly people. Every time I’ve gone there I’ve always ordered take out because I usually pick up dinner on my way home from work, but they have a great dining area and they deliver too. The food is just excellent! Everything is freshly made and they can make special orders for you no problem.
Worst General Taos chicken and shrimp fried rice I’ve ever had.
This place is just awesome! Very friendly staff, quick delivery, and the food? The food is hands down the best Chinese takeout I have had in at least 4 years. I would tell anyone to get food from this place over any other chinese takeout in the area or surrounding areas.
Like going Home. I love good Chinese food so I love China Garden . Mary the hostess/waitress is about as sweet and kind as a person can be . She and her husband use to own Dragon Express in Bellair Plaza , that was our Chinese Place . The chef will do special orders with no problem and the order is right . The sauces are homemade and individual to the dish . The price is right , the service is good , the atomsphere is old time Chinese restaurant not the fast-food style . Go I know you will like it.
Likes It. Just got home from dinner at China Garden and I loved it! We got the combination dinners sesame chicken and also general tso chicken we also shared some vegetable lo main man was it good. I was so happy to find this place we only spent $20 and it was really good, they deliver too!
