Appalled at this establishment.. I am amazed that a place like this has any customers. The environment in this tavern is one of the worst I have come across in 15 years in the business. It is a free for all with drunks at the wheel. The poor quality food and terrible service aside, the way employees are treated by ownership is borderline abusive from what I witnessed in my 1 and only visit. I would not recommend Roadside Tavern to anyone I know or even someone I just met. This place defines unprofessional!
Great bar food!. Roadside has been well known by the biker crowd for a while now and has been steadily gaining in popularity with lots of locals. Full bar, Fast, friendly service, Cold beer, great burgers cooked to order and very good wings served up as hot as you want them. What’s not to like? I usually try to get there on Mondays for the burger special and they aren’t afraid to serve them up rare or medium rare which is how I prefer them. Roadside has daily specials from the kitchen as well as live music on the bandstand on the covered patio out back. Check them out at (www.roadside tavern.com)
Fun place. The food is sort of beside the point here, although it is pretty good for pub food. Hamburgers are freshly made and not frozen. There is a fish special on Fridays that is pretty good. The best thing about the place is it’s eccentric patrons who seem to contain quite a few funny characters ranging from senior bikers and barflies all the way down to 20 somethings. All friendly and welcoming, so it’s all good. Smokey bar inside and cool outside area. My only bad thing I can mention is the cameras. There are at least 8 in the bar area alone. I’m not sure why it bothers me so much, but I am noting in any review of places that have them as a negative.
Cool little place….. I have stopped in this cool little place several times now and have been pleased so far, I had the opportunity to try the wings the other night, we got 10 teriyaki and 10 hot and sweet with a side of fries and garlic bread. We got the wings grilled, I recommend getting them done that way, I was very pleased with the wings and garlic bread, i did order a side of the sweet and hot sauce after the wings came, they needed a little more sauce on them, the fries on the other hand were a little over cooked but it was 11:30pm so I overlooked that (but it did bother me a little ok a lot).I recommend the Roadside Tavern, order the Sweet and Hot wings grilled you won’t be disappointed.
