Best Chinese in NI. Great soup and combos. I love the number 7 with Almond chicken, pork, etc. Won’t go away hungry. Has been in the Coeur d’Alene market for decades.

Eh!. Ordered lomein and got spagetti with veggies and some pork. Unfortunatly this wasn’t the worst I’ve had but it was passable for late night and nothing else was open on a snow day.
Poor Customer Service. Ordered take out by phone. They gave my order away, saying they had two orders for the same thing. Yet, somehow neglected to prepare my order. They offered to make it. When I asked to be comped for my trouble they blew up in my face. Calling me belligerent and rude. The owner didn’t believe I called and asked for my number to check against the caller ID. After much big talk they finally settled on giving me five bucks off. Hardly worth it. The food was horrible. Thrown together. The order was actually wrong, again. Bad service. Surly staff. Won’t go back.
Chinese gardens is literally the worst place to eat in CDA I haven’t eaten there in over a year but I would never go back. What a waste of time this place is disgusting. Go to canton instead.
Just plain horrible. Went there for lunch yesterday and can honestly say it was the worst chinese food I’ve ever had. Chow mein tasted like canned, couldnt eat the egg rolls at all and their fried rice was brown rice with a tiny fleck of egg. They should also go somewhere else and find out how to make hot and sour soup…..almond chicken was greasy and grisly……years ago they were pretty good but now they may as well close the doors-disgusting !
Service good, food bad. Absolutely do NOT order the lemon chicken. This is by far the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tried to eat. I took one bite and almost vomited. It was fried chicken pieces, and slathered over the entire plate was what could only have been canned lemon donut filling. It was gelatinous and sickly sweet…exactly what you would find inside a donut. I will never eat at this restaurant again.
