Very impressed.. Top quality Mexican food at an astonishingly low price. Don’t let the small space fool you. This place is well worth a visit.
Fast, Friendly, Fresh. Great lunch. Super friendly staff who are very efficient & fun to top it off. Very reasonable prices. Great Carnitas & breakfast burritos in particular. Side note- the carne asada is not what you are thinking of if you’ve ordered from one of the big Mexican Restaurants (TV or RV) it’s chunks of steak, not flank steak so if that’s the Asada you know & love, try any of the other great things on the menu.
The carne asada (steak) tasted so freezer burnt, really no excuse for not serving fresh food these days.
Great mexican food. The owners are the only employees and it shows. The food was great, plentiful and priced well. We had four different things in our group, and, after tasting everything, can compare it with the best Mexican food that we have back home.
Excellent value. The food is very good. It’s the best Mexican I’ve had in CDA. For the money and the taste, it’s well worth a visit. The owners are very nice and willing to please. The portions are HUGE and the prices are cheap. You can’t go wrong.
Food is DELICIOUS!!! WAY better flavors and value then Cafe Rio. Service is fast and super nice!
Scrumptious food & warm service!. You must not judge this book by it’s cover & get past the decor & color (or lack thereof) inside this little establishment. Head straight to the employees Lupe, Angelica or the chef/owner Fransisco where you will be welcomed with enthusiasm & remembered from this day forward :-). Order whatever suits you off the menu or ask them to do something special for you, in any case we’ve never been disappointed. The food is prepared within your sight & is always fresh. The prices are really good, you can get a huge breakfast burrito for $4 that is sufficient to sustain you for the first half of the day. Everything else is between $4-$6 with the exception of a couple shrimp dishes that are a little more. The Carnitas are definitely the best in town.If you have an Latino friends, don’t be afraid to take them there, all of ours love to go there & say it’s just like what they’d cook for themselves.I fully expect El Paisa to grow & become a prosperous establishment in our restaurant community.
