This is for their food truck 🙂 ..So very grateful that they come all the way from CDA to Spokane for Kendall Yards night market and give us a chance to grab those delicious grilled cheese sandwiches .. Everything about those sandwiches is to love, from the way they are prepared to the way they taste .. those crispy cheese bites formed when the cheese oozes out on the grill and that melting cheese inside the sandwich .. we love it all. Also, the veggie options with that lovely pesto works out so very well for us ..Last time we shared the oozy deliciousness .. with pesto and tomatoes .. and gosh was that a heavenly sandwich or what .. And apart from the eating .. the best part is to see that sandwich getting prepared in front of you .. the cheese melting in the sandwich .. some getting crisp on the grill .. toppings and sauces .. oh lovely and all that :)Btw a word of thanks for the people behind the grill .. those guys work like a machinery, serving one order after another and another .. that is some real hard work out there.PS – had a taste of their homemade chips with avacado crab dip and that too was utterly delicious.
It is so darned hard to not hit the 5.0, but I respectfully reserve that rating for meals served to me on the French Riviera, or on the beaches of Phuket. Regardless, this place was a great family meal. I won’t go into a play-by-play on each sandwich, but I will emphatically state that each one was eye-rolling delicious. Soup was perfect. House made chips were fresh and crunchy. Every dipping sauce was savory. Service was barely lukewarm, but in the end I really don’t care when my family and I can have such an incredible, decadent comfort food lunch. All made more enjoyable by a snowy, winter day. Every positive review for this place must be believed…
The concept of human sacrifice has always eluded me, but if I could convince this place to relocate to Central Montana, my two adult childrenwould be in serious jeopardy. We devoured a Border Patroland a Simpleton with chicken, and hardly took a breath after the first bites. Quality ingredients on Wheat Montana bread produced a pair of the best grilled cheesesandwiches we have ever inhaled. The gal at the counter, who patiently explained the menu options, exemplified service at it’s best.GO HERE…it’s great.
Just amazing. My boyfriend and I were on a weekend trip down to coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint and went to this place twice in 2 days – it’s that good! Love the creative dips for the potato chips. Also, word of warning: the sandwiches are HUGE! Get a half size or save the other half for later!
I’ve been to Meltz several times for lunch and haven’t had the same thing twice–and they’ve all been great! From the Pot Stickers melt to the Burger Bopper, I have enjoyed them all. Friendly staff, delicious food, and reasonable prices all add up to a WIN! I do hope they expand in the future–can you imagine having Meltz for lunch at Schweitzer?
Extreme cheese on the road. The Meltz mobile operation descended heavily on the Inland NW Beer Festival, and the hungry cheese biters descended on them! I waited upwards of 25 minutes for our order, the Oozy Deliciousness. I turned it into disappearing goodness. I would attach a pic but the ballfield lighting and my phone camera don’t work well together. Anyway, their website has the equivalent American Ooze. The prices are different in mobile mode and didn’t see half orders available, but don’t even bother! You need the full Monty on these cheesy gems. I might make a special trip to CDA to try more. It was too dark out to really inspect my sandwich but I ate it so fast I didn’t care. If a shop opens in Spokane, I will start buying bigger pants in anticipation.
