SUSHI BAR??? Ummm, no!. New to the area, we used our GPS to search for a buffet that offers sushi. We found Top of China and gave them a call to confirm that they do in fact have sushi. They told us they have a full sushi bar. We arrived to find by far the saddest ‘sushi’ section we have EVER seen. They wrapped up nasty things like CHICKEN, and TOFU and vegetables in seaweed and rice and attempted to pass it off as sushi! There is even a sign that said that all their ‘sushi’ is fully cooked. That being said, I would have just eaten california rolls IF THEY HAD THEM… BUT THEY DIDN’T EVEN HAVE THAT! SAD. Aside from that extreme let down, they had an assortment of food that might as well have been grease buckets with serving spoons! TERRIBLE. The only saving grace for my family of 6 was that it was crab legs night. It’s hard to mess that up, so that is what we mostly ate after trying everything else and HATING it. So we got a lot of dirty looks and bad attitude from the staff and they slowed down and almost completely stopped serving the crab legs. DO NOT GO HERE, IT IS ABSOLUTELY BENEATH DOG FOOD!
Good Variety, Reasonable Price. One of the better chinese buffets in the US. Good variety of dishes with many vegetables. Nice selection of sushi as well as the salad bar and typical chinese buffet items of chicken wings, boneless bbq pork, general tso’s chicken, green beans, crab rangoons, egg rolls, soups, etc.
Definitely for the Family…. Just the shear magnitude of how many items they have on the buffet assures that everyone will find something they like. A good place to take kids for a change in cuisine. Buffet items are always hot and fresh. The place is always packed, too. All very standard, and all good and filling. Nothing is authentic, but who really cares when you go to a place like this. Top of what we got. Food is better than average, prices are great. Staff is 50 50. some are really great and out do themselves, some of them are so terrible at it and are rude I usually avoid the side that they are serving.
