This restaurant has been a favorite of restaurants for about 50 years, the crowds coming for the succulent country ham and the big portions. Ive come here a few times throughout the years, and every time Ive had to take a to go box home. I ordered the banana and pecan pancakes, which were massive. With four in an order, I couldnt finish them. They were certainly tasty, but the pecans wouldve been better cut up before being placed in the batter. My aunt got the biscuit sliders with egg, cheese, sausage, and sausage gravy. She really enjoyed the gravy, and had to take home the rest. She just didnt like that they use American cheese on all their eggs, which takes away from the flavor. The hash browns were okay, but couldve been seasoned better. Still, we left full and happy!

The worst. It takes forever to get food. Service was poor. They were to busy talking to each other to even care about service. The food tasted disgusting. I do not know what happened but it has went DOWNHILL. There are way to many new spots opening up to go back to here. You might want to update this locarion. For the prices and poor food quality maybe that’s why no one is really ever on there. It looks like a broken down place. Call pest control also

My wife and I had breakfast here on 3/26/16 while returning home from a trip to Chicago. The place was packed and we waited about 20 minutes to be seated, but it was worth the wait. The portions are huge! If you’re not really hungry your wasting your time here. Then again, there is always the doggie bag.My ham & cheese omelet was made with 4 eggs and came with hash browns & toast. It was stuffed with what looked like a half pound of diced country ham. They are apparently famous for their hams and there were a lot of people picking up orders for Easter. The ham in my omelet was lean and had a wonderfully deep smokey taste that didn’t overwhelm the natural taste of the pork itself.I live almost 3 hours away and you just might be able to talk me into driving up there for breakfast some weekend morning.
