Great Neighborhood Tavern. Stopped by here with some HS friends before our reunion a few hours later. A typical neighborhood tavern, where everyone knows each other, and friends enjoy a fine selection of beers, and well drinks. The food is tavern cuisine not fine dining, not a place you take your family, just a local place to enjoy a beverage and something to eat.Came back five hours later and closed it.
Killer Ribs. If you love a pub with a great history this is the place for you. They have all the usual pub food but it’s better than it looks. I went with the 1/2 slab of ribs and 1/2 BBQ chicken. The ribs had a nice carmalized bark on them and the chicken was very tender and juicy. I will definitely go back to this place soon. Give them a try!!
One of my favorites!. This is a great corner restaurant & bar. Located across from the Metra station, it’s a great place to get together with friends. The burgers are great! The rest of the menu is much better than the usual bar fare. The food and drink prices are a great value.
Coming from a resident of Mt. Prospect, this is one of the best, most unique, and historical restaruants in town. I love the food here, and it is a good eating environment. I would recomend eating here.
