What a wonderful surprise! That steak torta was quite delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection. Juicy, tender and well seasoned. And skirt steak is easy to mess up, so props to the kitchen. The salsas were again a disappointment. It’s not that I’m a salsa snob (I am), but it’s such an important ingredient in Mexican street food, specially tortas and tacos. The space was kind of meh, nothing special going on. It seemed like someone decided to open up a restaurant last minute and found one that already had a kitchen. Nothing was done to make the atmosphere more enjoyable, just tables, chairs, and a pool table? The server was great. She was very attentive, fast, and did not hesitate when we asked her to split our bill three ways. Solid lunch, tortas locas.
