Great food and staff!. Had lunch there recently. I had the hamburger which was tasty and juicy. It was a hand made pattie, not a machine pressed piece of meat. The hand cut fries hot, fresh and crispy. My friend had the chili-Mac special. It was a large bowl of creamy Mac and cheese covered with their homemade chili and served with a piece of sweet cornbread. Our server was super nice and accommodating. When she found that it was my first time there and my birthday, she made sure we felt at home. Even though the place was packed, she made sure we were taken care of. Thanks to Stones Throw Cafe…..will be back for more!
Nostalgic decor. This restaurant most certainly is reminiscent of the 1950’s and should be taken as such. It is not meant to be fine dining at its best it is merely a quaint little cafe with great service and good food. They often have daily lunch specials that are great to enjoy. Thier breakfast deal is very economical at approximately $3.99. Because of the price the bacon is not the BEST but it is most certainly tastey and you will find that they will cook your eggs correctly or per your request. I enjoy thier spinach casserole. Many of the people that frequent this place don’t find it appetizing but I myself enjoy it.
Good Food, Good prices. Very friendly people and the food was good. The owner will treat you like family. I eat there all the time.
Not Too Good. It’s ashame that they have the new upscale Millen Air at the airport now, and no better restaurant than this. The waitstaff is truck stop material and the food is sub par. I had beef tips and rice the other day. It must have been grilled steak from the day before that they had left over. I’ve never seen grill marks on beef tips. No kidding
