The tamales sound great from the descriptions but miss something in the taste department. This was the case with all the items sampled, not bad just not up to the promising menu or prices. Less than cordial service didn’t help, I expect a certain level of passion from a food truck owner absent on several visits to Jester’s.
Caught them outside Flying Heart Brewery in Bossier City. They had many choices and I went for the Cuban sandwich. Tasty and Toasty with loads of meat. Pork was a little dry but seasoned beautifully. It was a little heavy on the mustard but overall a great choice. I would definitely recommend!
Yummy Goodness. I’ve visited this truck several times and my favorite dishes currently are the roast beef sandwich and Ernest’s famous crab claws. The roast beef is so flavorful and tender and the crab claws are delicious.
Don’t waste your money. The truck is run by Tina Palmisano, who is married to Chef Ernest who own’s Ernest’s Restaurant. I wish I would have known that before I went and I wouldn’t have. I did so purely out of convenience and found the food to be overly greasy (even for a food truck) and too expensive for food truck fare.
