Servers’ hair sweeping in the food. Taste-wise the food is OK at best. However, if I had seen how the servers carry the food I would have walked out before consuming it. The delivery people on Friday, January 30, 2015 were two guys with dreadlocks. Now, people can wear their hair how they want, but there was one big problem with how these guys did it. They had their dreds up in pony tails, and they carried the food trays on their shoulders. As they turned their heads to the left, their dreds literally swept half the food on the tray. Talk about disgusting. Never again.
Located inside the Marriott Greenbelt. I have been staying here for many years, and the service in both the bar and the Silver Moon have been poor. On my latest trip, it reached an all-time low. No acknowledgement, minutes to get seated in an otherwise empty restaurant (I had to walk into the kitchen to get noticed), many more minutes to get an order taken. The food is OK but extremely expensive. Omelets are $15+, a glass of orange juice $5.75! Fuggetaboutit. Grab a muffin and coffee at Starbucks a few feet away instead.
