  Tasty meal. Looking for a nice, Italian dinner before a concert at the Garden, we chose Amici for it’s location and menu. The dining experience, and food were both good. First, the positives, the portion size of our chosen dishes was good. Haddock was fresh, shrimp flavorful (bread was a disappointment).The prices were what you would expect in the city. Negatives…the place is small and HOT. There was a floor fan in the dining room, but it wasn’t on. My biggest gripe with Amici was that a few of my observations from my seat made me seriously wonder about the cleanliness in the back of the house, since the front of the house was downright dirty. My placemat, where my silverware was placed had dried, crusty bits of food stuck to it. I flipped it over, but the back side was worse than the front. I was on the verge of asking for a new one, but I chose to ignore it. There was a counter next to my seat that was covered in dust, crumbs, and there were even a couple of old Christmas decorations on it. With just a little attention to cleanliness in the dining room would vastly improve impressions of this restaurant. As I said, the food was good!

  Amici Very Good!. This is a very good restaurant. Excellant food and service.Try Calamari, Fusilli and Veal Chop. Specials sometimes hae Lobster Pie which is great.
