Just got lucky!. My husband and I were walking around the North End in hopes of a great slice of pizza and we stumble into Parziale’s… best slice since Lucca in Italy!The sauce was perfect and wasn’t loaded down with extra stuff… really the perfect piece of pizza. Had to try some cookies as well and loved those too!Funny what you will find by walking off the beaten path. This is a place we will mark down and will make our way there again on our next trip to Boston.
Fabulous cannoli and rustic bread. Had a few hours before my flight out of Logan, so I hopped the T into the North End on a quest for authentic Italian bread. I’d been making my own at home for years, but wanted to try the real thing. I found Parziale’s on Chowhound where they were noted for their authentic ricotta cannolis, so I bought a couple in hopes they would last till I got home late that night. They were packaged in a box with string, so they made it fine…and I wish I’d bought a dozen!!They only had a _small_ loaf of rustic bread, which was huge! It was so good, we ate the whole loaf for supper…
