My friend and I stopped by for lunch one day with an appetite unlike any other. We decided to get the Al-Ameer platter, which was supposed to fill us to the brim. We were first given a salad with fresh pita, hummus, and toum, which was freshly prepared. Not long after, we were served a gigantic platter filled with every meat imaginable. There was kibbe, grape leaves, chicken and beef shawarma, and chicken, lamb, and beef kabobs. The grape leaves were filling and the kibbe was well spiced and fried. The shawarma was incredibly delicious, every bit of it filled with flavor (especially the crispy bits). The kabobs were also flavorful. For the amount and quality of food we got, this was definitely a treat.
