Really cool, small place in downtown Farmington. My husband and I used the Build Your Own Burger menu (complete with a wet erase marker to check your own ingredients) and it was amazing. They have so many different options (meat and vegetarian) and I was pleased with the vast array of choices. The service was great, too; attentive and laid back. Really nice experience and light on the wallet, too. We’ll definitely be coming back.
Basement Burgers. Great for late night bites and craft beers. The girls did build your own salads and they guys built their own burgers! They raved about the Kobe beef burgers! Great downtown feel in Farmington
Thumbs down!!. We had the nachos and a burger… First of all we ate there a year ago and the burgers were great. So last night we tried it again and were totally dissatisfied. They used a cheap variation of nacho cheese. The runny kind of cheese:(((. It was gross!! The hamburger was suppost to be cooked medium. It looked to be microwaved. It was the same color on the inside as outside. Microwaved!! Also, we each had a mixed drink and they were watered down.
Awesome!. So…I am wandering around downtown Farmington a few months back and we stumble upon a sign for the Basement Burger Bar. We got a little lost but we found this in the basement (for real) joint. And boy and I glad. You are given this awesome menu, with a dry erase marker and you design your own burger. Now if you aren’t that creative they have some pre-set menu burgers. But with the dry erase you get a choice between proteins like Chicken, Kobe, Mushroom, Black bean and regular beef. Then you choose a bun, and toppings…and it was good. This was not fast food prices, but I thought worth it. I have returned several times, with several people and I warn you this place can get crowded on a Friday night. Everyone I have brought….loved the burgers, and only one person thought the price was not worth what he got. Everyone else felt the prices were on par with the quality and portions. Make sure to try the tater tots….and the frickles.

Amazing amazing burger, best I’ve ever had!!!! I love how you can build your own and the pretzel bun was delicious. Go go go!
This place is disgusting. I was not impressed. The burgers are not even as good as fast food burgers. The service was terrible and the place is dingy. They cooked my burger medium when I asked for well done and they asked me if they could throw it back on the grill to cook it more. Gross. The fries were pretty good but not enough for me to ever go back. Go to Millers in Dearborn if you want a great burger.
