Can only speak to the seafood salad, which was really refreshing and tasty. Also I sat at the bar and the bartender was really wonderful in terms of service. Sometimes people are extra attentive and great when you are dining alone – this was one of those places.
Please go!. Hands down best Italian food I every had! Service and food are outstanding ! Highly highly recommended
Excellent food, great service. My husband and I had dinner at Lombardo’s Trattoria to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our experience was amazing from the moment we walked in. We were seated promptly, and our server, Ellis, was extremely attentive. He carefully went over the specials with us, made a few recommendations, and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. We ordered the lobster ravioli/toasted ravioli combo for an appetizer on his recommendation, and it definitely lived up to his promises! It’s easy to see why their toasted ravioli has won awards for 6 years running–huge pillows of ravioli, with just the right amount of crunch while not being hard or overdone. Definitely not your average toasted ravioli. Our entrees arrived in a timely manner and were delicious and perfectly cooked. We asked for the dessert menu, and Ellis appeared a minute or two later with a dessert on the house for us to celebrate our anniversary. He had selected one for us but made sure to ask if his selection was okay. (It was, and it was fantastic!) He wished us a happy anniversary, as did Dave a few minutes later before we left.Overall, it was an incredibly pleasant experience that exceeded our expectations. We’ve found our new favorite restaurant, and look forward to returning soon.
Amazing atmosphere, amazing food, amazing service. Back behind the Union Station, in the basement of the Drury Inn, is a throw-back to the days of high-class, Italian restaurants…that’s Lombardo’s. Dark, wood-paneled walls and real linens on the tables. My waiter was flexible in accommodating my requests and even offered some modifications to the menu because I was a table of one. He offered to bring me one each of their regular and lobster fried ravioli, instead of making me buy one choice and five ravioli. These are not what you may be used to seeing as fired ravioli. They are golf ball sized taste treats. One stuffed with seasoned spinach and marinara, the other with tender lobster in a cream sauce. Excellent. My entree was Rigatoni Trattoria which was tender rigatoni, their handmade sausage, onions, and mushrooms in a cream tomato sauce that was out of this world. The prices were surprisingly reasonable ($15 entree) for the portion and the quality. It may be a bit hard to find, but well worth the search.
The toasted ravioli are not your typical cookie cutter frozen t-ravs. They are huge and delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty.
Good Service, Bad Price. Good service and atmosphere. Felt the food was a little over priced for the quality. I had the filet mignon which was priced at $29. The quality did not seem to be much better than one good get a grocery store market for $9. In any case, if you are looking for a place to eat that’s quiet and intimate, this will do, however don’t plan on getting a lot of value for your dollar.
Would love to try all their dishes but live too far away. Awesome service with dishes that layer flavor upon flavor. The Cappellini Anthony was awesome and enough to feed more than two–I would love to get my hands on this recipe–my husband ordered the Chicken Lucciano and was just as happy with it. The Toasted Raviolli is handmade with an awesome marina and well worth the overstuffed feeling we left the restaurant with.
