Great service, good food. I’m actually a bit surprised to read the other reviews on here claiming that they had poor service at Ari’s. My family eats here about once a month and the staff has been always been wonderful. The the waiters and waitresses come and ask how we have been and are always prompt with refilling drinks. We received a free dessert from the owner once just because. I can’t say enough about the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The food is also delicious, much of it being locally grown. Definitely try their buffalo chicken salad and saganaki.

Reasonable & Tasty. My wife and I stopped here out of the blue and were pleasantly surprised. Food was good, service was good and the price was good. Will be back.

Bad Taste All Over. The signature dish (gyro sandwich) was in short disgusting. The meat was cold, grey and inedible. Upon mentioning it to the management they said it was no problem and they would make it right. Making it right for them meant comping only half the price, even though only two bites had been taken. They gratuitously offered a random dessert which turned out to be a mushy and leftover lemon custard which was again inedible. On top of this the waitress opened up the check and made change at the table by taking out a stack of cash like a bookie and made an executive decision to keep the change. My boyfriend’s meal (the grouper dinner) was grotesquely overpriced, nowhere near worth the 15$, it was equivalent to a white fish meal one would get at Denny’s for half that price. In short the service was less than desirable, the cost was more than desirable and the taste was just lackluster.

The food is mediocre–you can get better Greek food at many other places.

Yeech!. We have been to Aris for brunch and found it to be a place to get a good omelet. Recently, we went there for dinner and had quite a different experience. We ordered a feta chicken dish, which was just okay– seemed like it was previously frozen with some fresh feta on top to perk it up. We also ordered a combination beef platter (three items) and they were served to us with miles of this really yucky gravy covering them. I’d understand this in a mexican restaurant, but Moussaka, one of my favorite greek dishes should stand by itself. A restaurant proud of its dishes does not cover things in gravy, they display what they make nicely. It makes me wonder what they are covering up. With all of the shows on TV like restaurant and kitchen impossible, this place seems to be the perfect candidate. Read between the lines. Our waitress, like with a previous reviewer, did not really pay attention to us and did not wonder why we didn’t eat most of our dinner. She brought us cold slices of bread (from a grocery loaf) before dinner. I would have loved to have tried the wonderful meals that others have described in previous reviews. We got the bad chef that night. She brought our check without asking if we wanted dessert. Crazy us– we actually wanted to try dessert– and were glad that we did. That part was delicious. They said that someone makes it and it takes a long time. If we go back to this place, it might only be for dessert when we get a craving for baklava. Probably not, though. Too many other problems and they didn’t seem to care about us in an almost empty restaurant.

Reasonable and great. My pal and I grabbed a patio seat and he chowed down on a fish sandwich while I went nuts over a greek salad with gyro. Awesome! He raved about the house made tartar sauce, you know Greeks and their yogurt based sauces…oh so good. Whether you crave breakfast, lunch or dinner, this is a place that provides real value for the dollar. Be sure and enjoy the patio, on a busy street yes but the foilage shields the noise so you can enjoy a great meal.

Fabulous Greek Restaurant!. Ari’s is in a word, FABULOUS. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They are attentive and eager to please. I have had the Greek salad, the gyro and the brunch and I love it all. A favorite place for sure! If you go for breakfast, do get a Bloody Mary….very tasty! My date and I started out a very fun day here….can’t wait to return!
