I love this place. If you haven’t heard of it before or if you’re on the fence, just give it a try. It’s so great! Menu is eclectic but calculated, deliberately tempting — everything sounds delicious, and everything we ordered was, in fact, really tasty. The vibe is chill and elegant and unstuffy, and the soundtrack just killed it. Best music, unique offerings, good drinks, family friendly — what? In St. Louis? Yes, really. Slightly off the beaten track, but located in an area with plenty of other good restaurants and darling little neighborhoods. The openness of the seating arrangements, the knee to ceiling windows that look like they could swing open in nice weather, the spacious dining and bar areas, and the fantastic lighting make the mood as special as the food and drink. Tip: Rainy day lunch was perfect, but a summer evening or Sunday brunch would be spot-on groovy, as well. Angelina was so friendly and down to earth, made the experience a real treat.
Sooo good. Orzo salad w/ fried artichoke disappeared before the camera was out! Asada/Shrimp Burrito yummy and too big too finish! Avocado tacos were so good, I wasn’t offered a taste. Great food and service. Perfect for quiet conversation w/ lively background musica.
