Yes. This place is one of my favorite sandwich shops. I’ve only had the cold Mom’s special but I love it. I really need to try another sandwich, but I’ve been sticking with the winner that is the Mom’s special for several years.
Simple can be so tasty.. This place is super tasty. I’m not a huge sandwich fan so it has to be freakin’ fantabulous for me to not pick it apart and discard at least half of the bread. I like pastrami on French with provel, peppers, tomato, spicy mustard and onion. I have to admit that I opened up the sandwich just in case it needed an autopsy but other than minor reorganizing, it was great. Next time I go back I am considering trying Ron’s Special.The atmosphere is indie/old fashion deli/sandwich shop. You can purchase various items other than sandwiches. It is very small and can get very busy. There is limited seating outside.Anyhoo, great sandwiches. You should for sure check it out.

A classic neighborhood sandwich shop. The Mom’s special is really, really good. Can be a bit pricey after you add on chips and a drink. Sitting outside is your only option, but good when the weather’s nice. No restrooms, which is a bother. Also, it’s not a traditional deli, so don’t go in expecting good corned beef, unique soups, whatever. Think about a local operation of Subway, only better. I try to make it here for lunch whenever I’m in South City.
Dads hot with gravy is my favorite sandwich in st louis!!
Horrible! What do people like about this place? Microwaved sandwiches and way too much sauce. St louis is filled with so many great delis, this one is at the bottom.
