Good pizza but that is all that they serve. Not even a salad! For that reason I have to give them a downgrade on the rating.

Love this place! I like good St. Louis style pizza and even Provel cheese (NOT Imos), but I also like a more traditional hand tossed pie…never disappointed at Pizza-A-Go-Go!

I sitting in this restaurant now. I ordered my (one) pizza 40 minutes ago. My kids are whining. I am ready to walk out. It had better be good pizza to make up for this. Ugh.

Pizza purist. NY-style or go home. This pizza is nothing like Imo’s – you can’t even compare the two – it’s the real deal. The only pizza that comes remotely close is La Pizza. FYI, it’s amazing with extra sauce. Also, you can bring your own ingredient and they’ll throw it on for you (we found this out after confronting Frank about the distinct lack of jalapenos on the menu).

Great Imo’s alternative. Having grown up on Imo’s (deluxe, please), I am a fan, of course. But if you want to try something different, A Go Go is a great choice. I am a fan of the sausage & mushroom myself. The not-too-sweet sauce, perfectly chewy crust, and tasty toppings make for an ideal combo…and the BYOB is a nice option, too.

Good Pizza Bad Service. What makes this story worse is that I got carry out! I used my full name when I placed my order (as I typically do). I gave my last name when I came to pick it up (as I typically do). The guy looked at me like I had two heads. I gave me some attitude about only giving me my last name. Maybe I’m in a small minority but when I order carry out or make reservations at a restaurant I give my full name. When I go to the restaurant to get my order/table I give the employee my last name. I assume I am the only one there with my last name the employee has enough common sense to figure out it is me or they ask for my first name to verify. Apparently at Pizza-A-Go-Go it is common place just to order and pick up on a first name basis. My first name is much more unusual than my first. I am very disappointed by this situation as I drove through the ice and snow of the January 2011 storm to get here and then I have to deal with some old guy there giving me grief. I would expect this type of exchange from a teenager working for a chain, and not from someone who is probably the owner of a mom and pop store. I’m never going back there. There are so many choices as far as pizza is concerned, why would I? You can check out this ‘pizza nazi’ but I try to avoid other people’s BS when I can. The pizza is good and fresh, but I can’t handle being treated like an idiot when I didn’t do anything wrong.

Pizza-a-Go-Go is a gem in south Saint Louis. The pizza dough is hand tossed and the sauce is made in-house. The menu only has pizza and they know how to make a great pie. Do not forget to bring you favorite 6 pack to drink as it’s a BYOB place. They even have a cooler to keep your suds cold. It has quickly become my favorite pizza restaurant in Saint Louis.
