Good pub atmosphere. This place has warmth & character, without any pretensions. Good variety of beers on tap, and a pretty good menu selection, including things you don’t normally associate with an Irish pub (like spaghett and pork chop sandwiches). Food is usually good, nothing fancy, but fits in well with the ‘neighborhood pub’ feel. Service is always friendly, but not always prompt when it’s crowded. Overall, one of our favorite places in downtown Billings.
Customer Service?. Had a very bad experience at this place. Waitress was nice but not very good. Took our order and forgot one persons food. My son didn’t get his drink until some time after he finished his meal. She never checked back to see if we needed more water or refills. At the table behind us she forgot to bring their salads until after their main course was served. Another waitress had to step in and help a gentleman get his food because she forgot he ordered a pizza. When we got done we had a split bill. She totally messed that up. She put my tab on my friends credit card, and put his bill also on his credit card. When she realized what she had done, she ran my bill on my credit card. My friend ended up being over drafted on his bank account because of it.I would chalk this up to the dingy new girl, but when my friend called and got what he was told was a manager on the phone the guy said that the waitress had given him a credit when she realized what happened so the problem was between my friend and his bank.Seriously? That was a perfect example of poor customer service. Not even a fake apology or any type of regret for our bad experience. It seems they do not wan’t my business, and that is good because they are never going to get it again.
If in Billings, you must stop here! The best service and the best food in Billings!
This great local restaurant is like the program Cheers of Billings. Food is great, atmosphere laid back and cozy.
So good. You will love the meat pasties, with gravy and mashed potatoes. So, so, good. Usually the staff is a little gruff, but when you’re eating the pasties, you don’t usually care.
Good for Sunday breakfast too. In addition to meat pasties and the pork chop dinner with apples and onions sauteed in balsamic vinegar they have their version of a frittata on Sundays. It’s kind of like an egg pizza but the crust is thin. Yum!
Yum!. Pork chop sandwich, need I say more.
