Very hard to find this place. It is located in sort of an alleyway and the front of the restaraunt does not face the street. Also there is no parking very close. My first impression entering the place was very good. Nice decorations and real cloth tablecloths. Our waiter was over quickly and answered our questions completely and took our order. We started out with an order of Thai rolls. The were by far the smallest rolls that I have ever seen before. They were about the size of a cocktail sausage. On the good side they were fried perfectly. On the bad side they were so small that there was no room for much filling inside them. I would not order them again. Next were shared a bowl of Tom Kha soup. I opted to add shrimp to it for an extra charge. It came with a single small shrimp in it with its tail still on it. The half full small bowl of soup wasvery flavorful, there was just not much of it. My wife had the sweet pineapple chicken for her main dish. She liked it very much. She especially liked the moist chicken and the pieces of tomato in the dish. She also liked the sweet sauce very much. I had the orchid chicken for my main dish. My chicken was also cooked very good. I enjoyed the vegetables and the sauce in my dish very much. My only complaint is that it was not very spicy at all. Next time I will ask for them to make it so. We finished our meal with an order of sweet sticky rice and mango. The mango was very good, the sauce was delicious but the rice was slightly undercooked. Despite the few flaws we will be coming back to try them again.

Love Blue Orchid! Always get the yellow curry or panang curry, and both are very satisfying. Atmosphere is high end and calming. Staff is always friendly.

Tasty upscale Thai establishment but small portions and overly sweet curries. Drunken noodles and jungle curries are good. Appetizers and drinks are pretty good. A little high priced for portion and quality but poor Lincoln is lacking in number when it comes to good food and nicer restaurants so this is a higher rated space/menu than most in my estimation. The old and dearly missed Thai House had much more satisfying food.

Delicious food, wonderful wines and great service. I simply told the waitress what I liked and what I didn’t and she brought me a wonderful glass of wine and a meal that meets or exceeds any Thai food I’ve ever had.

So I’m staying in Nebraska for work and decided to see what there is to offer. I was told by locals that this is the best thai place around. I get there and walk into what seems to be an old converted office with high ceilings so it’s extremely loud for as few people that are there. The service was absolutely horrible, staff was unfriendly and the pad thai was the worst I have ever had in my life. The noodles were undercooked, the chicken was rubber and it was bland at best. I’m guessing they have to pay people to write any positive reviews about this less than desirable establishment.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Nebraska. Delicious food and nice atmosphere. I have the pad Thai and spring rolls. Love them both. Servic@ is friends. Not always fast.

My service was fine. Michelle was prompt and genuinely professional. The Tom Yum was flavorless, had zero lemongrass and was just plain not good. She cheerfully replaced it with a bowl of Tom Kha… Same problem. In fact it seemed like the exact same soup with coconut milk In it. I wont return.
