Excellent food. Salsa is muy bueno. Our family is vegetarian with one vegan. We were able to adjust our meals as required. Thank you for providing whole pinto beans as an option. Would certainly recommend. Located two blocks SW of the capital building.
Great authentic Mexican food at a great price. All dishes I have had are good but I would suggest the fajitas, they are one of the more pricey meals but they are great! All dishes are good.

Fantastic! We had the Machaca, Pollo Con Mole, and Tamales…all are like Mom used to make. Do yourself a favor and go to El Chaparro!
Nice Neighborhood Mexican. Nothing fancy. But the food is authentic Mexican, and the menu offers quite a variety, including shrimp and fish, tongue, seafood soup, and all the usual beef, pork and chicken items. There are weekend specials.This is a come as you are place. The Mexican TV station and heavily latino customer base makes you feel you are south of the border.
