  Disappointed.. My husband went to pick up a burger and a hot dog for me because I had a double pregnancy craving. I text him my order, and he headed out. We live near down town, and he was gone nearly 45 minutes. Fine. Usually its worth the wait. Well, when he got home, I was pretty disappointed. I had asked for onion on my hot dog. No onion. So I opened my bacon burger (no cheese for me) and it had cheese on it. I had ordered onion on my burger as well, and this one had so many onions I could have taken half of them off and put them on my hot dog and they would have both been perfect. I was a little annoyed, so I checked our receipt because my husband had my order in a text and I’m sure he read it correctly to whoever took the order. On the receipt the order was FLAWLESS. EXACTLY what I had asked for. Somewhere between reading and making the order, the cook got it wrong. I would normally not mind but waiting that long for the wrong order was annoying to me.

  Bad Lunch Choice. My buddy and I planned to eat lunch at Chipotle. But they were packed with a line out the door. So we walked a block away and stepped into Five Guys. Plenty of room! That should have been our first clue. We ordered the standard burger and fries. We had both been here once before. What we got for lunch today was significantly poorer in taste and quality than what we’ve had before. The fries were the biggest disappointment. Limp, lukewarm, soggy. Not anything like fresh cut fries should taste. These were really sorry fries. So know we know why the place was almost empty at 12:15 lunch in Downtown Lincoln on a Wednesday

  Cajun fries are awesome. Burgers are pretty good too, good place for vegans.

  Burgerguy. I think this is a very overhyped place! I know I could make a better burger at home. Why are the buns cold and stale? They are like old home hamburger buns, nothing special.The fries are well, not very good, I would like fries that are crisp and tasty, they need to go back do something about them. I guess for the life of me how zagats rated them so high!Man they must never had a really good burger. If they ever went to steila’s in Bellevue they would be in for real treat of a great burger. Heck culvers is better than this place. I hope they can improve or I think this place will not be here long.

  It’s not bad.. I’ve gone twice now, once to set the baseline and another to order it my way. Both times the service was reasonable but not fast and the food wasn’t bad.Decent food, don’t get me wrong, but for my money I’ll go to Don and Millies or Runza or Parkway Pub.I’ll go back with friends, but here are the reasons I’m not in love with 5 Guys (at least to the extent of the hype).* Too much bun for the burger.* The onions had a funny taste last time, either that or they fried the burger in something (vinegar?) or the ketchup or mustard was an off-brand* The fries taste too potato-ey (and this is to a guy who loves potatoes, especially the skin)* It’s way too loud. We could barely talk to each other at our tableFinally, I’m not sure there’s anything a restaurant can do to make me feel good about spending $10 on burgers and fries.You can order the small cheeseburger ( I recommend you do) and take some friends and split the regular fries three or four ways. This brings the cost down to about $7-$8 each. Much more reasonable.
