Amazing macaroni!. I ate here for lunch yesterday and ordered the Pumpkin Macaroni, and could not believe how filling it was! I was only able to finish about half of it and left very satisfied (would be a good dish for two people to share). The combination of the pumpkin and the sharp cheddar want together nicely, and the dish was well seasoned. I also tried an oatmeal butterscotch chip cookie and have to say that it it was the best cookie I can recall having in Lincoln. I also highly recommend the Moroccan Tomato soup and the cheese scones.
Fantastic soup!. There are several different kinds of soup available every day here at this quaint vegetarian restaurant, also known as Grateful Bread. I’ve dined in a few times. Each bowl of soup comes with a choice of bread.Their corn chowder is out of this world, and they also have very rich Moroccan tomato soup. This is a great lunch spot. You can get full for $5 and it’s a unique, locally owned business. This one meets all three of my criteria for a great lunch place: it’s locally owned, it has great food, and it is not overpriced.UPDATE: They now offer sandwiches on occasion, but not every day, and cinnamon rolls that to die for! Lately I’ve been loving their Indonesian vegetable soup and their Indian mung bean. Both use curry and coconut milk. Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm!
