Pros:- 75% of the time, it’s good every time- Flavors can be weird beyond beliefCons:- Flavors can be weird beyond belief- The Line Ride: time you’ll never get back- Mildly cramped seating- Flavors are in crazy small batches, so stuff listed on their Facebook page can be out in a matter of less than 2 hoursIvanna Cone has been downtown for years and it really hasn’t changed much in that time, though they’ve recently expanded in a limited way, adding an alley walk-up window with basic flavors. It’s a little parlor in the Haymarket and almost always has an enormous line in the summers, especially on the weekends. Their flavors are recipes developed by the employees and can range widely from tasteless, absolutely too rich, so heavenly that I’d give up my second-born, or, this should be a main entree and not a dessert. So you have to go into it with kind of a Willy Wonka mindset. It helps that you can ask for tasting spoons of the flavors that you are interested in. They’ll always have vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and cinnamon. And their waffle cones are the tops. Personal favorites:- Bruiseberry (No Coast, no mercy!)- Prailine and Beam- Honey Cornbread- salted caramel birthday cake- Avocado cheesecake – White people freaking the f— out <– please bring this back, omg!Basically, anything with cake in it is delicious. While the UNL Dairy Store tugs at my heartstrings (GBR!), Ivanna Cone is definitely the best ice cream shop in town. Ranks right up there with Bonnie Brae and Sweet Action in Denver and Glac in KC.
They have good ice cream. be advised of the tip jar in an ice cream shop here. be prepared to tip. they do have good service. they are 2nd only to UNL Dairy store. around here.

Ehhh…. Good ice cream but…. Ehhh….Good ice cream but not stellar and certainly not enough to over come the slippery slope from.hipster to obnoxious service.
Best ice cream around. This is the best ice cream in Lincoln, hands down. There are always a number of flavors – both traditional and more unique/exotic ones, and I’ve never tried one that I didn’t like. All of the ice cream is made fresh in the shop and you can taste the difference. This is one of my absolute favorite treats. Truly delicious.
Unique flavors. This place makes their own flavors and they change them up pretty often. their homemade flavors are really unique and delicious! the onlyyyyy gripe i would have is that they only take cash.
